Short answer: No... well, not usually!

One of the biggest myths we hear is that autonomous cleaning robots simply roam around aimlessly, hoping they eventually clean the whole floor.

The reality is very different.

Most Commercial Cleaning Robots Follow a Planned Route

Before a robot ever starts cleaning, our team visits your site and teaches the robot:

  • Where walls, furniture and obstacles are

Once the mapping is complete, the robot follows the same route every time, providing consistent, repeatable cleaning results.

Unlike manual cleaning, where standards can vary from shift to shift, a robot follows exactly the same process every time it's scheduled to clean.

Smarter Than a Random Vacuum

Commercial cleaning robots aren't driving around making decisions on the fly.

They're using advanced technologies including:

  • SLAM (Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping)
